Hello LouKy: You didn't ask me, but I'll tell you anyway. You want to get back even, give up on these roach motels. Buy Cisco, Lucent, Rambus, Home Depo, Microsoft, Ascend, Warner Lambert, Coke, General Electric, NationsBank, Maytag, Countrywide Credit, Tellabs, or AOL. You'll pay more per share, of course, but you'll actually make money and be able to sleep at night. Or, buy shares of Berkshire Hathaway and hit the beach <ggg>.

P.S. If you're a Street.com subscriber, read the two excellent articles written this week by Andy Kessler entitled "The Pig In the Python" parts I and II. It talks about purchasing some of the beaten down stocks of PC suppliers and the likelihood of them doing well at least for awhile. Most of those are really bargain priced and have little downside risk. It's about talked me into buying at least one stock (SEG) in what I consider the premier roach motel sector, the disk drives.

Hi Louky, I second what Trufflette wrote. I am heavily invested in IOM, however I will not recommend you to do so. There were many mistakes made in the co. over the past year causing many people to lose a lot of money. This has forced the co. to make many changes and now we must wait and see if these changes will turn the co. around. Therefore IOM is a speculative investment now. If you want to make some of your losses back invest in a few blue chip stocks and hold them forever. You can't lose. Or invest in a Dow Jones or S&P index fund. This is what I'm doing now. I haven't sold my shares but it looks like dead money for a while. I'm not a bear nor a bull on the stock, just a hopeful "idiot" (G),i.e. cautious optimism. SR

Re: TENXF

I actually made my first 300% or 3 bagger on this one? is that what they call it?

From what I recall they made light fixtures and got involved with tv top satellite receivers. They were hot when satellite startup were all the rage. I got interested after seeing the co. in Individual Investor.

They were definitely a trading company. IOM is the same way. You can make $$ on any stock that has movement. Basically, you have to track these types of stocks day to day. Don't let your guard down.
I like IOM at these levels...
