Mike: Something has me baffled. (Truth be known, a lot does.) I don't understand this earnings game. The market has been rationalizing high PE's because of anticipated growth. Now, analysts keep lowering earnings expectations so company's can meet them but stock prices keep going up along with PE's. How does this work? Somehow, I think we are not taking the global situation seriously enough. Is there any chance we in the US have become intellectual and ideological isolationists? Regards, Susan
