For the most part, the Yahoo thread is appropriately named. To get any analysis, you have to wade through the posts of a bunch of yahoos.

Re $8 a share: If I've learned anything investing, it's that anything's possible. The falling day rates eat into operating margins -- more than falling revenues do in other industries -- because of the high fixed costs. I still don't think it's likely unless the threat of world-wide deflation is realized.

One of the things I like best about ESV is the management. From what I've seen and read, they're competent and experienced. Any fall to $8 would likely be a result of a sector-wide issue, rather than an ESV-issue.
