sam: I agree with your advice to Gary K about shorting. I shorted last week and took a few points, then covered. Now, having read this server thing, I'm glad I did and will probably be buying my long position back tomorrow, though hopefully still below where I sold last week (61+). You probably know that some of the daytrading groups targeted it last week as a short and they no doubt piled on, contributing to the downward drift. That was my basis for shorting, nothing to do with the company or its story. You know they're going to do it, and there are a lot of them, so go with the flow until the flow turns back up, right? It's worked so far.

News on new DRAM product from Samsung. Dated June 12, 1998.

Earlier this week, the South Korean firm presented details of a 0.13-
micron semiconductor manufacturing process to a conference in Haiwaii.

Currently, the 0.25-micron process is cutting edge, although Intel and
others aim to bring an 0.18-micron process online in the next few
years. Samsung claims that it is the first company to get to a .13-
micron process.

This is part of the news released and it is enough to prove that
INTC is far behind.
