Rick, <John Jenkins most definitely is a polished speaker and good, non-rambling communicator, so I expect him to do well on CNBC, if he can keep it "non-techy". > AGREE WITH YOU HERE. While last CC was disappointing, he did a great job on previous two. And, an excellent job at stockholder's meeting. Apparently did pretty well when he met with FORTUNE magazine twice, prior to the FORTUNE article. <I can also tell you from direct conversations that all of TAVA's executive management, internally, thinks the SI forum is a complete joke... > Not "complete". Even I agree that, particularly over the past few months, much of it is. Fortunately TAVA executive management doesn't waste their time monitoring or reading this thread. Some of the employees do, but definitely NOT management ... or even Scott. It amazes me when some people think they do. Last year I considered this thread to be a "quality" thread. Now, it's primarily a "quantity" thread. Some long-time "regulars" continue to make substantive comments or share research and information. But so much is lost with voluminous "chatting", "name calling", "baiting", "reactive" and "emotional" posts. An exceptional few have continued to rise above, and not be a party to this. While there are others, a SPECIAL thanks to John Mansfield , who continues to share so much valuable information with us. His selfless efforts, and contribution by some others, has resulted in our being the BEST educated group on various aspects of Y2K issues ... not just embedded systems. This is where I find participation in this thread of most value to me personally. Cheryl
