Westergaard Year 2000 publisher John Westergaard will testify before the Senate Special Committee on the Year 2000 Problem Monday morning, July 6th. His focus will be on strategic considerations related to the impact of Y2K on financial markets and business conditions internationally. For example, if Saddam Hussein uses Y2K as an impetus to move on Saudi Arabia since the U.S. military will not be able to respond, what will the resultant rise in oil prices do to world financial markets?
