Rudedog, I don't disagree with you re. Computer Intelligence as I have found their quantitative numbers suspect. However, their research methodology should be sufficiently sound to spot trends or possibly a one-time anomally. The channel inventory story has been discussed ad-nauseum and I'm not sure the true story will surface when CPQ reports. However, as a DELL investor and an options player I'm mostly concerned with conventional wisdom & how the market will treat the entire PC category, including DELL, because of this report.

Incidentally, this is the report, I believe, that CNBC quoted on Friday and is scheduled to be released today.
