gezelligheid ( untranslatable really - one can only describe it as the existence of a warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere).

Funny.... see my edited message, (I was having trouble with SI again.... too slow).

I am now beginning to understand the reason of your "predictions", you must think they sound logical.

When you say that the Dutch language creates, the existence of a "warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere"......

I am so sorry, Goldfinger, I do not mean to insult at all, but let me give you a slightly different perspective of things...

I do not know how to brake this to you but, the person barking, excuse me speaking Dutch, really sounds like... completely raving mad, choking, and in need of artificial resuscitation....

At least in German the vowels are like in Spanish, (most of them), and somehow, I can distinguish most of the words, (must have been the girlfriend motivation, although no practice lately), a little practice and perhaps I may be able to pick it up again, mind you I have forgotten all the declination rules though.

As for Dutch, let me give you an example of how it sounds, (to someone who their mother tongue is along the lines of Spanish, Italian, Portuguese.... and well, French):

gtrkjjghhlki trk¬#__¨&gklo wooooooompkjhiuuuulkl

I guess for Dutch speaking person that must sound like:

I love the scent of roses in your beautiful hair

Or something along those lines......
As for French, I am a little suspect of that language, as I am not certain if it is the language or simply they are masticating a ball of snot as they speak....
