Did you try here ?

I wouldn't worry tooo much about i740 or other chips for now,
there is toooo much game support for the "VOODOO" brand!!!!!!

3DFX is a 1-trick pony targeted for gamers where as other
video chips are being targeted for this application "just put my
chip on your motherboard, just bacause" (i.e., Intel, etc.)

So, in a nutshell, TDFX will make your cry one way or another,
don't put all eggs in here. Would be a nice takeover target,
depends on what is in the werks..

Reflecting a recent industry trend toward benchmarking
chips against real-world software, Mercury has tested
chips against Ziff-Davis Labs' 3D WinBench '98 and
Egosoft's forthcoming game, "X." Go to www.mercury.org
on the Web for complete test results.
