Katherine,

Thanks.

Is it reasonable to conclude that SVGI's *key* advantage is most scanners in production today and the longest successful track record?

If so, these advantages may be more than offset by its extremely small customer base for photolithography. ???

Hopefully, Track and Thermco will open a few doors for the SVGL sales people.

Ian.

P.S. In case it wasn't already obvious, I'm long SVGI. :(

<The biggest technical problems with scanners seem to be with vibration control and synchronization between the mask and the wafer. Those are engineering problems that can probably be solved without infringing SVGL patents.>

I have absolutely no expertise but thought I remembered someone saying that the SVGI machines have less vibration due to some sort patented offsetting moving parts and therefore a key advantage they had. I have heard nothing of this since and assume its bull based on what your saying. Thank you for the enlightenment. The way business looks in this sector right now at least potential SVGI customers no longer have to worry about SVGI being able to deliver machines! hahahaha

Katherine,

Do you have any info on how many scanners SVGL competitors are shipping these days?

Thank you very much in advance,

Bob
