I figure I should have the right to pack a gun, but I sure don't want anybody else within range to have one. Especially the Rocketeers. Any mental/moral defectives, for that matter. The taxes aren't as bad as many European countries, believe it or not, and can be managed fairly well by a decently creative accountant. And of course, the other side of high taxes is services - we definitely get more and better services from nuestro gobierno, universal health care being the most famous example. The thing that really ticks me in recent years is the decision to liquidate the gold reserves of the BoC. Twenty years ago we had an ounce per capita, now it's around one-tenth of an ounce. Fantastic stupidity, imho, for any nation - let alone one which is the world capital of mining finance. Write your Congressman -g-
