Williams Conferencing Sells Fax Business

TULSA, Okla., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Williams Conferencing, a business unit of Williams (NYSE:
WMB - news), has announced an agreement to sell its enhanced fax services business,
including the fax customer base, equipment and software, to International Teledata
Group. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Williams Conferencing, an international provider of multipoint video, audio and event
conferencing services, made the decision to divest its fax business to focus on
collaborative conferencing technologies of video and audio.

''ITG was selected largely due to the improved services available to customers from its
systems and its fax marketing expertise,'' said Linda Lawson, senior vice president and chief
operating officer of Williams Conferencing. ''We are confident ITG can fully meet the fax
needs of our customers with the high level of service our customers have come to expect
from Williams Conferencing.''

A special transition team of ITG and Williams Conferencing personnel has transitioned
customers to the new platform in the past few weeks, Lawson said. As a result of the
transition and sale, some Williams Conferencing employees will assume positions with ITG.

''We are very pleased Williams Conferencing has chosen ITG. We believe this
demonstrates the confidence they have in our abilities and our commitment to services,''
said Richard Boudreau, president and chief executive officer of ITG.

ITG is a privately held corporation with more than 15 offices in North America. It offers a
wide array of electronic messaging services, including enhanced fax messaging.
