K, I think the problem is that in July of 1997 analysts were predicting that in 1998 LSI would earn about 1.70/share. Now that we're well into 1998, it looks more like they'll earn 1.00 to 1.05. So you can't blame people for looking at 1999 projections of 1.50/share here in June of 1998 and having a wait and see attitude. Having said that, there are indications that the 1.50 is going to be "for real" this time, and that's why I'm in the stock. Good luck. Andy
