I do not think that assault weapons should be illegal. The true meaning of the 2nd is for protection against tyranny from our government.

Up until the 1900's private individuals owned battleships and cannon.

I know someone who legally owns tanks and anti-aircraft guns.

Nuclear weapons-- yes they should be illegal!
