You're right. That type of manipulation definitely happens. I first found out about it from a friend of mine that used to be a broker. He has since retired....darn it....cause he used to tell me about all kinds of different stocks that were getting ready to run. And he'd always be right. And he worked for a MAJOR brokerage firm. A very respectable one. About broker liability.....I had a broker talk me out of buying Reynolds Metals one time...this was back in 1982...and persuaded me to buy Parker Drilling instead. I listened to him because I figured he was the professional...he would surely know about these things...I was the amateur, so what did I know? To make a sad story short.....Reynolds Metals did GREAT and Parker Drilling went down. This was 1982. I never thought of suing that broker, but I sure wish I had not listened to him. Juanita
