Duncan, Why do liberals make things up so often? Because liberals can't stand the truth. This is a fact mentioned frequently by Neal Boortz on his show. They cannot justify the argument that big government and the associated socialist programs that go along with it is better. So, from the socialist perspective, what is wrong with "manufacturing" a few stories to "descredit" the opposition. The sympathizers and special interests will love it, and the ignorant probably don't care anyway. Plus, others are too stupid to ever question whether the "official spin" just might be wrong. So, the liberals publish their unchecked lies and get away with it. (At least for a while.) Darrell

Why do liberals make things up so often? It's because they are of a higher mind than us red neck, right wing, republicans and libertarians that they lie. It's because they have us lowly common folk's best interests in mind, after all we don't really know what's best for us, that they lie. It's because they have good, no, the best *intentions* that they lie. They lie as all demagogues do...because it's for the best good as defined by them and them alone...dissention is not tolerated. And this is called today's progressivism? halfscot
