Thanks, that's helpful. While I acknowledge that TA is not as helpful with penny stocks as with blue chips which exhibit a certain predictability, I've found that while NR's can always break a trend, there are trends. Penny stocks are more unpredictable because of manipulation but they are still being manipulated and that, too, has a time factor and does give buy and sell signals. TA has been really useful on the WT thread. It helped me get in and out of the stock four times for a very handsome total profit. FloJ is the TA expert there and has made a lot of good calls. The long term members there(there were only three of us for many months), instead of playing against each other, have been playing together. WT made a bigger run than WSP, moving from 20 cents to 3.80. Good volatility. One of those now and again brighten the day. Let's hope that WSP treats us as well.

Hello Mikey and Bill! Mikey I must congratulate you on a fine job of reading the horizontal bottom last winter on WSP. I remember the several discussions we had online and offline about this. I feel that TA on the VSE is very useless because of manipulation by the brokers and insiders. When we had the discussions (Just after Christmas) I recall. WSP was about to announce their Winter Drill program. I was betting that Canaccord was going to run the stock up for spec. purposes. This is why I didn't read to much into the Triangle. You were right and I was Wrong. I take my hat off to you on that. Did you read any signs of a entry point prior to these two last N.R.? What if last weeks activity was used to Fan paper out the door and this A.M. WSP did a Halt and announced they are withdrawing from Snap Lake? Where would WSP be this p.m.? I'M TOLD THAT STUFF LIKE THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME ON THE VSE! Keep in mind that floats can be eaten alot easier on penny stocks than $10 paper. TA is great for companies like IBM, AT & T, Chrysler (blue chippers). I just use MA, I never short above a 30 day MA and always short below a 10 day MA. Everyone is watching the vol. This is bad as this stock is being flipped and unloaded at higher levels for the time being. Strong resistense at $2. Don't get me wrong....WSP is a fantastic long term hold. With these recent developments....I've started to hype it to my friends. fIXER
