<<The buyers are likely friends and co-workers of the testers. Halliburton, Shlumberger, etc... people are notorious market players. I used to conduct drill-stem tests for Halliburton and when I witnessed a significant well that had the likelyhood of dramatically increasing the share value of the owner, I would buy. As would many of my co-workers. You would be surprised how fast that sort of information will spread through a division (from tester to tester and through management).>>

It is not because YOU commited insider trading that you should accused other of the same thing. In any case it only sounds like hype.

Hi Al,
It's nice to hear from someone who's in the oil business. I agree WT is a Great value! I used to be an analyst in NY on Wall St (actually it was 60 Broad) and I am now a money manager. I did my own analysis on WT and put my own money into it...as well as my clients. I talk to people in this business every day and whether they are brokers, traders, money managers, partners at venture capital firms or analysts they all say the same thing; "I'm buying this myself". That has been the response almost 90% of the time. The other 10% are intrigued enough to do their own DD. Not one person I've talked to since I started buying in Jan. has said, "Not interested" after I gave them my analysis of WT, even when the stock went down over 50%. I had to inform them as to why it was going down of course. But I've never in my 20 odd years in this business felt so confident in a stock.
I know I'll hear it from those who think this is hype but that's OK. If anyone is going to call me please DON"T do it between 6AM Eastern Time until the market closes as I will be working.
I agree that Flo J deserves thanks for the info provided on this forum.
Thanks again Al,
Bruce
