David,

Thanks for communicating. In answer to your questions:

1) Effective July 1, 1998, Viking's number will be officially listed with
GTE's Tampa information. It will also be published in the new phone books
both white and yellow pages (closing date is July, for publication, I believe,
in October). Explanation of why it has not been listed until now will be
included in one of the message board posts coming up over the next few days.
No big mystery - just that Dan Erickson used his own phone to handle Viking
business when he started all of the restructuring over a year ago. Never had
the name on the account changed.

2) Don't know when or how often you have called 813-837-2295, but believe me
the phone is answered literally dozens of times every day. The problem may be
that we have call waiting set up in order for one person to handle multiple
calls. If you call while anyone is on the phone, you may be a call waiting or
you may be the third caller at which point you will be put directly into
Viking's voice mail. Sometimes it is impossible to interrupt a conversation
to pick up a call waiting call. We regret that, but the caller would still go
into our voice mail system and be able to leave a message. If you have left a
message at any time, either Dan or I would get back to you.

3) Share buyback was started in May - details will be included in next one or
two press releases scheduled for this week.

4) Details on Broad Cove in next press release probably out Wednesday. Since
we anticipate this will be a lengthy release, including information about
pending European acquisition as well as other items, there may be more than
one release actually issued.

I truly do work for Viking. And I appreciate your concern and frustration.
Thank you for your patience.
