My Italian aint so good...but it sounds familiar. A quote from a pack of Marlboros.. "Veni, vedi,veci." Interesting quote for a pack cancer sticks. What does it translate into? Veni = I came Vidi = I saw Veci = I Conquered "I came, saw, and conquered" ~ Julius Caesar. Not Italian..... Latin. Caesar (Gaius Julius) wrote it in his memoirs of the French campaigns, Caesar as general. The first book begins Omnia Gallia in tres partes divisa est, meaning "All Gaul [France] is divided into three parts." That's all I remember from Caesar. I slept through the rest of Latin II. <GGG> Also I suspect I've misspelled the quote, but so? It was from memory. Still a great quote -- should survive even my spelling ...
