New Mass Storage Chip! Let me go out on the limb on this one. This chip was not suppose to be announced until until late fall or early winter with delivery in the spring of 1999! WOW! This is a phenomenal announcement. This is HUGE! This could be the beginning of a run-up that should see a 2 - 3 point pop. This is what the Mass Storage market has been looking for for quite some time. Cirrus can and will sell this at a bit of a premium and the end users still save 50% - 80% of their costs from previous components. All I can say is WOW!
