Hello, All. Just wanted to join in on the thread. I hold to stocks in the Energy field, PKD and PETD. PETD is mostly gas drilling W. Vir. and Penn. and a supplier to the NE United States. I understand Natural Gas is holding its own and PETD is at their low right now of $4 15/16. It is due to make a run once investors feel better about the possibilities of this sector. PKD has always been a favorite of mine and I added more at $6 15/16 last week.
The meeting between Clinton and Djong televised in China and U.S. revealed that they are aware of the Asian crises and are involved in helping Japan to do the right moves to quickly boost the yen. This, along with OPEC promises to make drastic cuts might pay off this week with shareholder confidence in the oil sector. We shall see what this week brings but I am trying to be optimistic. I believe that both of my energy stocks are testing their lows right now. It was a good sign for PKD to come back strong at market close and to close at $7.00 bid.
Hope this carries over on market open for all of us in this sector.
Regards,
Santiago
