Someone correct me if I am wrong (this is off the top of my head which is often full of fuzzy logic), but isn't it true that PI market penetration in the United States alone has barely broken into the double digits (over 10%)? Thus, the growth potential is, as you and Izzy say, still quite good. Take care, Randy

deserves repeating.....

"Some key interaction data between Sustiva and protease inhibitors have been found and
is supposed to be discussed at Geneva showing that:
Sustiva lowers the concentration of Fortovase by 60%;
Sustiva lowers Crixivan levels by ~35%;
Sustiva lowers Amprenavir ~35% (Vertex's VX141 levels by
Sustiva increases the levels of Viracept ~20%, and no dosing changes are
recommended."

Thanks, Margie. Mike King, Vector Securities, recently made the same observation (I am *not* implying that he is an AGPH bull). Glaxo is going to have a fight on their hands, and AGPH may be riding the coat tails. I'll be watching the blood brain barrier data for Sustiva, together with issues of compliance and tolerability. The lymph/CNS combo for Viracept/266 may just be the combo that moves forward to steal huge market share. Alternatively, there will be some strong data for NNRTI and NRTI combos, sans a PI.

Nothing if not boring......

Cheers! Rick
