Random thoughts on Symbios acquisition. When announcement that ADPT's plan to acquire SYMBIOS fell through last week ADPT investors bought the stock. At least LSI is not purchasing Symbios with stock. So much for any stock buyback program in the near future. I believe the purchase price is significantly less than ADPT was going to pay. ADPT was to pay 775 million plus assume 100 million of Symbios's debt. The ADPT/Symbios deal was presumably killed by the FTC. Can the same thing happen with the proposed LSI/Symbios deal ? If the deal is completed will LSI be able to utilize its new plant to manufacture Symbios products ?
