George, he responded to a short racist comment with a very long racist comment, just read post #706. Racism encompasses a broad range of offensive prejudices, and bigotted comments about particular nationalities is just one form. Zebra should know better. You need to live in the UK to understand the position of the royal family. Not everyone is pro the royals. They are a major part of England's history and you can't change deeply embedded traditions overnight. That's not the point though. Most of Zebra's tirade was offensive and driven from the point of ignorance. His post made him sound very much like the sort of pompous, opinionated Brit that foreigners have grown to despise.
