NEWS RELEASE_CDR Completion Of Drilling Program Carried out by Astro Mining CALDERA RESOURCES INC ("CDR-M") ASTRO MINING NL ("ATRUF-L") - Completion Of Drilling Program Carried out by Astro Mining Chris Reindler, President of Caldera Resources Inc. wishes to announce that the drilling program carried out by Astro Mining N.L. as part of its due diligence investigations commenced on the 6th June and was completed on the 24th June 1998. The program comprised three diamond core holes drilled on magnetic targets selected by Astro following reprocessing of the aeromagnetic data and follow- up ground magnetic surveys to provide close control of drill sites. Diamond cores were taken from the surface and core recovery was excellent throughout. A total of 501.2 metres of coring was completed. Samples for detailed mineralogical and petrological investigations are now being processed by Astro and Caldera. Initial results are expected to be available before the end of July. Caldera is engaged in diamond exploration in the Abminga region of northern South Australia and is the major tenement holder in the region.
