Paul,

I better watch what I say because Don will be watching to call me a whiner. Squeeky wheel usually gets the grease but I don't think TDFX is listening. Then somebody will leave me a message to sell if its too tough to handle it. If I sold because I was upset then other people sell because they are ticked off and before you know it everybody is selling because they are PO'd at TDFX. Look at where we are. it seems like we have a openless pit.

My hope is that there are some big buyers that want TDFX real cheap and the MM will bring it down to get them it for the rise. I hope TDFX can go up as fast as it has tanked.

We shall have no complaining or might I say whining on this board. Lets all just watch our money go down the tubes with a company that has great products but no management support to get credibility with their stock. If earnings will build the stock we saw first hand what happened to us. If sales build a stock we saw first hand what happened to us. I take my financial situation seriously and I just can't sit tight and not express my opinions when others are saying everything will be fine, just sit tight, sell the stock, management is great, the product is great - but the stock lost 70% of its value. This to me is not right.

Mike

I visited CompUSA in Rochester, NY, a pallet full of V2's on the floor. I have always known the price of the V2's, around $250, but when I actually saw it in the store it might as well have been $2500. There are not many individual components left in a PC that cost over $200.
Accessories such as:
Kodak's best (323) USB digital video camera is $169.
Scietek flight controller $100.
6GB hard drives <$200.
Mother boards $100. etc, etc.
My point is that as an accessory that is not required to run any programs the V2 is priced very high. If I have to make a choice between that and a couple of other pieces of technology the V2 looses. I can't picture the average Joe buying this card when so much competition and other gadgets exist for a fraction of the price.
Additionally, doesn't it seem as though the days of the the separate 3d accelerator are over. Kinda like the 3rd party browser or the IDE controller cards. Why would I want to get stuck with this expensive last years technology.
Yet another example of 3DFX management, or maybe diamond...creative, screwing up by not anticipating the overall pricing of PC hardware.
IMO Banshee is a winner due to its projected price and performance, but NOT under this mngmnt team. This company and this stock will not recover and 2nd qtr will not be a blowout and may even come under expectations. If I'm wrong then the third qtr will be disastrous as inventories have piled up and no new orders will have been received.

Advice to 3DFX:
Abandon V2 only...you already have the 2D, 3D technology. Use it to create Banshee V2 SLI (it's not that hard) and price it to kill the competition. Shoot for 100% market share for Video boards. Your bottom line doesn't matter (remember the 1st qtr) but perception and market share are everything.

The alternative is to consider selling the company. (wishfull thinking)

Tony

PS..How can anyone talk positively about this company after looking at todays $15 price. I have a distaste for the company 3DFX (not the technology) and would gladly give up the rest of my position to see it in chapter13 and its mngmnt in a class action suite and the unemployment line.

PSS..(I've got on my Flame retardant bio suite so fire away!)
