The move was partly based on CNBC having said VSI might buy VLSI. Today they admitted their mistake when VSI bought something else. That doesn't mean VLSI isn't a good takeover candidate; it probably is. But whatever amount of the recent move was based on that particular rumor, is now being corrected.
