The US Patent #s for this product was linked to #'s 5679117 and 5679118. It was issued on Oct 21, 1997. The assignees are listed as an outfit called Research Octane, Inc., Albany, NY. At this point in time, I don't know if this company even exists anymore. If this is indeed the patent nos, I would like to know the chain of events that leads from there to Nova Gaz and Arconenergy. Anyone even know of black and white verification? Can it be traced? And now there are hints of new patents by Spriggs that he's trying to get cleared up. Trying to get somewhat of a grip on the history and "family tree". Selk

Vinnie; Also, how is it that John Spriggs is negotiating with MIDL (as GA BARD stated in previous posts) for DF-144, if Nova Gaz has the rights? Is John somehow affiliated with Nova Gaz? I have talked to both Fisher and Spriggs before the Fireworks began. The function of both these individuals were totally diffrent Fisher was the salesman and in charge of running the business and Spriggs was the Technical person one who is the meat behind DF-144. He is the one that knows how DF-144 works and the technical aspect of the product. Have Fisher explain the hard details of the product and he most likely refer you to Sprigss. Fisher is nothing more than a Salesman and a deal maker and quite frankly I have questioned his character since he left all of us with an answering machine, you think he would have been smart enough to have the calls forwarded to his present number but something stinks when he is there and all of us have seen our investment go down the crapper. When things were flying high he was here was he not. Why then when you need him is he somewhere in the Bahamas........ I will say this when I bought into this stock I bought it solely on DF-144 and nothing less but let me remind you of a statement in one of MIDL'S press release; Midland, Inc. is presently in friendly negotiations with John Spriggs for the construction of the DF-144 plant upon which John Spriggs' has already agreed to cancel his 50,000 Preferred Series ''B'' stock thus reducing the total dilution 7,500,000 common shares. Also the company is in continuing acquisition negotiations and possible joint ventures with other corporations with audited assets and revenues. We all do not know the status of those patents, and for all that is familiar with patents it is a very complicated subject, just because you hold a patent does not mean holes cannot be punched into it. The key here is Mr. Spriggs he is the technical person and he knows how DF-144 works I bet you Fisher has no clue. Also Spriggs has the reputation thus the deal with EXXON. From what I know Spiggs reputation within the oil and gas industry is well respected. Its ashamed that because of what Mr. Fisher did it cast shadows on him, with no justification from my perspective since his life style has not changed other than leaving Midland for the time being until issues are cleared up. This is not a Company (MIDL) that has run away with its tail between its leg they are doing something about it, and let me close with this thought Fisher is making claims against Mark Pierce well who is here and WHO is in the Bahamas. Thanks Mark for doing what is necessary to protect our stock. And to John I hope a deal can be worked out to bring DF-144 back to Midland were it belongs. And to Fisher you know a man by his actions, the bottom line is you were here than you vamoosed, not bad I wish I had the money to live in the Bahamas you must be doing well for yourself while some of us have been damaged.
