HENRY SAYS: <No offense Dave but if you have done great dd on a company the bashers should be easy to refute>.

You would think so Henry, but it is easy to create fear and doubt and the internet is a great vehicle. When you have stocks that have run up bigtime, the bashers come in and work their mean spirited magic.

IF they supplied proof positive that a stock is overpriced or if they admit they are shorters, I have less of a problem.

But they rarely do that. They sling dirt that takes a lot of energy to refute sometimes. They prey on the weaker individuals...and there are a lot of those Henry!

Plus, the more you refute them, the more PR they get on the thread, and new potential investors tend to stay away from controversial stocks. If you ignore them, that is not good either. So you try to discredit asap and then hope they go away. On FAMH AND DGIV there were 2 or more that took turns, almost like they were on shifts.

Plus they know that when they get the first few investors to think that the "next guy" will sell to protect his profits, they think "I better sell first", then you have the makings of a stock plummet.

The MM's help but moving down the BID on small sells and keeping the ask high. Then when they sense a panic they move them both down. IT's blatant!

Plus articles by the Stock Detective...
stockdetective.com

are based in some truth; almost like the guy is being fed lots of info by MM's or someone who knows just how to scare investors. It is very clever. The Stock Detective is part of the AXESSS group, a pink sheet stock, who is non-reporting and of dubious nature itself, so it seems odd that they pick on companies who are among the most credible on the BB:OTC. Why don't pick on the real scam BB's?

Why? Because the real scam companies are already priced so low that an expose on them would not make the shorters money. DGIV, MTEI, DCHT, NUKE and others are all far better companies that the average BB. Why doesn't the Stock Detective go after THOSE companies?

Henry, you may be a real strong, unemotional individual but the SEC is seeing it our way (see below link to Business week article). It is illegal to manipulate stocks.
