What is really scary, is that AMZN exists on hype alone... This being said, I would not be suprised for Bezos to actually split this thing again in hopes of an even more ridiculous run..

What is even scarier is that it could indeed run... The downside will be awesome.. Gonna wait for some bad news to hit... This sector is still toooooo hhhhoooootttt... Of course that also means the top is probably right around the corner if not here already..

I sold some August 100 calls this morning.

I just can't see AMZN reaching 113 by August.

But I couldn't see it reaching 98 either.

I think selling the calls is safer than selling the stock, because you have the built in buffer of the premium.

KC, I hate going naked unless there are women around. -vbg-

Actually, I have been thinking about this. It is a smart play if AMZN is destined to drop. That seems so obvious that it must be wrong, and I am trying to figure out what is holding this soap bubble up. I guess small idiots could be piling in fast enough to cause this action to continue. But even 100 shares is 10 grand, so this is not exactly small potato mad money people are tossing around.
