ADGI's Affiliate Announces Installation of Network Long Distance Services

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1998--American Diversified Group (OTC BB:ADGI) announced Monday that its telecommunications and Internet affiliate, Global Transmedia Communications Corp. of Miami (''GTCC''), working in conjunction with Innomedia Inc., with headquarters in Singapore and Santa Clara, Calif. completed the installation of the first phase of its Internet telephony network services.

In addition to GTCC's CheapTalk service that is marketed principally to individuals, GTCC's affiliate now has gateways that are operating in Canada, Florida, California and Singapore, marketed as private corporate communication networks (''CCN''). ADGI's affiliate provides the user with all equipment as well as the Internet access, eliminating the requirement that a user purchase sophisticated computer hardware and software, giving users access to long distance calling, faxing and data communications with virtually no long distance calling charges or time restrictions.

Independent industry experts estimate that faxes account for between 30% to 50% of all business long distance charges. A survey by Gallop/Pitney Bowes presently estimates that the average Fortune '500' company spends $15 to $20 million annually for telecommunications, of which 36% (or $5.4-$7.2 million) is for fax and that 55% of fax traffic is sent intra-company to branch offices. Working with Innomedia, the inventor and manufacturer, ADGI's affiliate shall provide its customers with these faxing capabilities by Sept. 1, 1998, at which time GTCC's CCN services will virtually eliminate the cost of faxing between a business user's branch offices and greatly diminish the long distance charges for faxing outside of the user's offices.

ADGI's target customers for this new high-technology Internet based telephony service are multi-national corporations, import-export firms, and virtually all large and mid-sized companies with facilities, customers and suppliers both in the US and abroad, among other business users. Typical savings for subscribers shall be several thousands of dollars or more a month.

Business users will be able to call or fax all other company locations using GTCC's CCN at no cost, as well as place calls outside of the system, via a centralized switch for the most efficient and lowest cost call routing. This service will eliminate the cost of the international leg of the call or fax, with vastly reduced charges only for the domestic portion of the call.

For further information, ADGI's Broadcast Fax System provides ADGI information (releases, newsletters, shareholder updates), and is accessible to all ADGI shareholders via fax.
