TK,

I received this today by E-mail alert on IGT which I also own. I have copied the portion that caught my eye:

IGT and Dreamport Terminate Joint Venture

RENO, Nev. and WEST GREENWICH, R.I., June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT - news) and Dreamport, the gaming and entertainment subsidiary of GTECH Corporation (NYSE: GTK - news) today announced the termination of their joint venture relationship effective August 2, 1998.

In addition, the parties will continue to pursue certain linked machine gaming opportunities in New Mexico and South Carolina together through IGDreamport.

I have to believe that this is in reference to the contract with the State of S.C. to provide the tracking system for the VGM's. I'll contact IGT tomorrow just to settle my curiosity.
