Hi Sheila,

Good point. We're all sort of betting on that, aren't we? =) I especially look forward to the process improvements he's talked about. Getting those costs down is key.

My favorite indicator of good things to come for IOM is that whenever the senior execs here at my organization or the IT people from our subsidiaries talk about removable storage solutions, they say something like, "We need to get a Zip drive." Not "We need to get a Syquest drive" or "We need a Sparq" or "We need a superfloppy" or even "We need some sort of big ol' removable media." It's always "Zip."

Which, yeah, presents its own problems if "Zip" comes to mean "removable storage media" in the mind of the public (like Kleenex, Xerox and Coke becoming generic terms and their companies' fights against that). But, heck, being the first (if not only) removable storage solution on decision-maker's minds isn't a bad thing! :)

Hopefully not /too/ slow. I'd like to be able to make a profit before the new millennium. =)

LOL! There's nothing wrong with shareholders stating their opinions about a stock. We all know there's cognitive dissonance kicking in there and influencing what we think and say about the stocks we've bought (or shorted). As long as everyone keeps that in mind, why not spread optimistic predictions about the future? Lord knows there's enough pessimistic ones around...
