So where do you get that? Exclusion from society is entirely appropriate for those who violate the rights of others.

If I agree to do something with another adult, you do not have the right to intrude on that decision. You can rationalize it all you want, but it is wrong.

Hi Poetic Justice,
Personally I think most prisons should be eliminated.
We have far too many laws.
And far too many punishments.
Consulting adults should do what they please.
Prisons should be only for those who are violent, and murder, and assault. All others should stay free and work off their debt to the victim not the government.
