Jean, My take on the implications for IDX with the INS STARS contract - I have no idea. Frankly, I am feeling mighty discouraged today; while the DJIA is up 90 points and the Nasdaq is up 20 points my portfolio is down today, including IDX. I'm a great believer in biometrics and Identix but the last few months have been difficult for me. So, what does the STARS contract mean? Who knows? We can only guess. So far, all of my assumptions about IDX seem to have been either wrong or just way too early. With announcements so scarce from IDX and no guidance to speak of, how are we to know what is happening with IDX? Investing is mostly educated guesswork and we are finding plenty of evidence that biometrics is beginning a huge growth phase - but as for IDX we seem to be asking more and more questions without getting answers while we just drift along. The market certainly is not giving a vote of confidence in IDX. At this point I am hoping to see more insider buying - THAT would give me more confidence. Rick
