"One thing about AOL, they are discontinuing anything I liked in the stock research area. No more First Call, no more Morningstar... and it's slower than my grandmother. I don't get it. If Sara didn't use it, we'd give it the boot. If you've got this one figured out, please share."

The only thing I "have figured out" about aol is that it is a relatively cheap internet play, vs. yhoo, amzn and other insanities. It is selling at about 10x sales; the tragedy is to have not bought enough at 3x sales a year ago. I have a little MindSpring too, since it has a similar valuation but is growing much faster. MSPG is going nuts, too. Probably hold through the split.

I did get some dell on the drop also, although it didn't get as low as I wanted, 70. I won't hold long. I grabbed some lu, and I have no plan for what to do....I have had csco for so long it is tough for me to buy 300% higher than a year ago, when most everyone on the csco board thought I was an idiot for buying it as it collapsed.

I have had increasing problems with pages loading slowwwwwwwwwllllly. I just have to believe that the infrastructure will continue to be built at its current rapid pace. MSFT,Aol, Dell, CD, CSCO, Lu all should do well, and are only obscenely expensive, instead of grotesquely expensive.

I agree that until INTC makes their new environment work well for them,(their margins stop deteriorating), and Dram stabilizes, investments in the semi area will suck, no matter how great a bargain price we get. (Yes, I will buy anyway at predetermined prices and hold my nose.)
