I stood aside for months because I agree with your statement. This market provides an investor like you and me with very little that is attractive earnings-wise. I would like to participate in the success of a company as an owner. However, the vast majority of owners lately have been making their money by selling the stock. That's not how I have played in the past but if that's the only way the game works now, one must look for those opportunities. Regards, AL.
