Is this the article?

Following several
weeks of declines, the
DOW climbed more
than 200 points. NASDAQ soared 5%
last week, proving that the rises focused
this time on technology shares. The
highest upturns were posted in large
technology companies' shares:
Microsoft, following the introduction of
Windows 98, and Cisco, after a major
analyst raised its target price. The
NASDAQ 100 Index, which includes
leading technology companies, leapt
7% last week.

The smaller shares, among them the
Israeli ones, trailed behind the blue
chips, and most of my portfolio's shares
closed the week without change. Against
this backdrop, New Dimension (DDDDF) rose conspicuously.
New Dimension has been enjoying positive momentum and
much encouragement on Wall Street these last few weeks.
Nice (NICEY), which is no longer particularly identified as
"Israeli" (thanks to the excellent results management
attains, quarter after quarter) also rose steeply. Nice and
New Dimension enable me this week to again present a
yield of over 20%.

I was incapacitated most of last week (don't worry,
everything is fine). When a person is confined to bed, there
is only one thing he can do without disturbance - ponder.
This week, I pondered, in general terms about the market
and the Far East crisis, and thought about the specific
shares in my portfolio.

Here are my initial conclusions: the action I took in last
week's column - selling Aladdin shares and purchasing
more Nice and M-Systems'(FLSHF) shares - helped me to
improve my yield this week, and has proven to have been
correct. I am utilizing the steep rises in New Dimensions this
week, and selling some of my holdings in the company in
order to purchase additional Pharmos (PARS) and DSSI
(DSSI) shares.

I expect Pharmos to shortly begin another round of rises,
bursting through its recent price range. The share fell this
week even lower than the bargain price of last week, and I
cannot remain indifferent at such a price.

I received many biting comments regarding DSSI in recent
weeks. The share is not behaving as I believed it would, but
I am convinced the low price is merely temporary. I am
therefore putting my money where my mouth is and
purchasing additional shares. DSSI is in an excellent
position, Comverge's future appears promising, as does
Tower Semiconductors', despite the situation in the global
semi-conductor market, and the fact that the share is in the
basement.

M-Systems remains stuck at approximately $4.5. I estimate
that the share will restart its northbound journey toward
August, once the weak second quarter obstacle is out of the
way. M-Systems' results will improve during the latter half of
the year, and I believe its fourth quarter results will be
particularly strong.

I anticipate positive announcements by M-Systems long
before fourth quarter results are published, relating to new
markets, and mainly in the set-top-boxes market. To date,
there are two giant companies developing set-top-boxes (GI
and Scientific Atlanta). Both of them need to choose a chip
to function as a hard disc, and both of them are aware of
the advantages of M-Systems' DiscOnChip. If only one of
them chooses DiscOnChip for its product, M-Systems will
show impressive growth next year.

An announcement about winning one of these contracts is
expected to be published toward year-end, and there is a
good chance that, by the end of the year, we will see
M-Systems' share climb to the high levels it reached
following the agreement with Microsoft. I estimate that by
mid '99, M-Systems will be trading at double-digit levels.

JT ... At this writing TSEMF is finally back up to $8 but DSSI is down to just about $4!! What the Heck is going on? One would think that even if small time investors were getting worried and selling out cheap, that those in the know would snap up the stock for more than this ..if there really is any value. What is your latest thinking on the subject?
