Whether it is a problem with what is perceived as German arrogance (usually derived from insecurity...sometimes humor) or due to some historical reference from a textbook written by the victors of WWII Loki, I hope you are not serious about this. We all know full well what Germany did during WWII. It will be better for you not to bring this up again. Victor

Loki Loki take it easy will you? I was always a fan of Mexico...I am a true soccer fanimal. Germany's eam sucks...it is only a matter of time when they lose. Would you rather cheer for this pathetic German team or the more exciting Mexicans. No wonder I have always been a fan of Brazil and I always will be. They are exciting to watch! As was the Cruyf Dutch Total Footbal teams. This Germany team is like a ghost being led by two generals up front and a whole bunch of old players with an incredible amount of luck to boot. Of course arrogant K makes it even more fun to cheer against them, no doubt about it! George

Thread....Great Effort for Mexico!!! My compliments to all those who are true Mexico fans. Thank you Loki..... For about thirty minutes, I thought Mexico was going to be the first Giant head cutter of this cup.... Mexico played in this cup her best ever no doubt, and today was probably the best game they have ever played. However to win, you need to score more goals than the opponent. They did not do that. The Germans did that. In the end that made the difference between winning and not. I salute the victors, congratulations, you played very well and had the ability to outscore the Mexican team. The posts, crossbars, fouls, cards, lack thereof, penalties, referee, etc. etc. ... That will be for the future memories. But the victory is for Germany and they move on. For now..... as I insist, they are the Geriatrics and a better prepared team may indeed beat them. It was close, a real CARDIAC game, the question is then, how long can they keep this up ? We shall see in the next few days. Congratulations again! Z.
