You know, in all seriousness, this break-out does seem to be for real. The classic test will be if we pull back to the break-out point, how do we hold up? I would suspect there is downside possibilities for 537 to 545 OEX (537 being about the 30 EMA, 534 being the 50 EMA and 545 being the break-out point). If these levels hold then I would think we are going higher, much higher.

At this point, however, I don't even see a pull-back occuring. If I recall the Jan break-out just went straight up. This one appears to be doing the same. No idea where the top is, except that when the market arrives there, expect a major shake-up to the downside, nothing like this little piddily correction we have had the last couple of months.

OT- Golf
<How come guys have to wear long pants and gals can wear shorts?>

Dress code thing. The ladies can also ride carts, I believe. Only the Seniors may ride carts on the men's tours. The PGA professionals, with the exception of Casey Martin, have to walk.....except from green to tee.

<Also, is it tacky to ask about a score in relation to the best possible?>

No of course not. It is hard to decide what "The best score possible" would be. Usually people either look at what "par" for the course is or what the course record is. For example, "par" at a course is usually around 72. But the best score in the U.S. Open was 63, I think. I think the lowest score ever shot on the Men's Tour was a 58.
