Paul,
**OTOT**
Sorry, I gave you partial info on my CD writer. Here is the whole story:

I have the HP SureStore CD-Writer, 6020i Internal 6X CD Reader / 2X CD Recorder. It is probably a year old and the box shows a price tag of $375.

One must be careful not to break any copyright laws, but do I have your permission to archive Paul Engel's postings on the SI thread? Like photo albums, it may be nice to have a CD copy of all your writings, when I - say 30 years from now - settle down in my rocking chair.

My ISP friend gave me the complete CD copy box unit with both the CD reader and writer. ( It probably uses a K6 microprocessor, but I just don't want to know). I think the gift was to soften me up for planned money borrowing for his ISP shop. What a guy!
humble carl

Paul, grapevine says Yamaha internals are the most reliable for
CD writers, and make the fewest frisbees.
