Re: Relative Strength & EMAD

i>If the two indicators you use are Relative Strength and the EMA Difference, how can they cross since they are based on different price scales? Or is that crossing indicator only to be used on Internet Trader, since any other graphical interface would most likely
show a different crossing point?

Abe,

On ITrader Relative Strength and EMA Difference have variable settings. I use the default settings, which are:

On Relative Strength - Period is set at 14 and Calculation Value set at Close

For EMA Difference:
Fast MA Factor set at 0.24
Slow Ma Factor set at 0.12
Calculation Factor set at Close

For both indicators I use "Line Style" Vs Oscillator Style.

ITrader is free, all you have to do is download and Register for a password.

<Expontenial Moving Average Difference.> Are you refering to MACD, or is this something else. RSI I know. RSI and MACD both moving up thru the midpoint would be bullish. Curious, Scott

Scott,

Perhaps someone into charts more than I can answer that.

As in the above post to Abe, the variables set, will make a difference
as to how the indicators work. Again ITrader is free. kanisa.com
