Thanks for the suggestion, Speedster. I'll do just that this eve.
Back to topic: Please go to Merrill-Lynch site (www.ml.com). Stodgy? Yes. Confidence-building? Definitely, yes. Flying yahoo logos? NO. Now I ask you, doesn't this look like old time money? Earned the old fashioned way?
If the M-L homepage was to sit at the end of a conference table on a 6 x 8' flat screen, would your attendees be well-prepared for the tone of the meeting? When FNTN's clients do presentations, meetings, educational sessions, should the tone and demeanor not be set by the "splash screen" that is the first, and in some cases the only, exposure they will have? I do this for my clients, and it DOES make a difference, and some of them are 1-person home-based businesses. I think FNTN deserves better.
I'm not anxious about FNTN's technology or prospects. All I am saying is that the network they are setting up should look as state-of-the-art as the hardware that supports it. You won't see any 8-track players on Babylon 5, will you?
M.

We are discussing the new website now because of the high expectations for fntn once they start selling there intranet. We just don't want to see a site that looks anything like the one that they had up until a couple of weeks ago.
