Linda,

Anyone who lives along the US/Mexico border in aware of the lower prices offered in Mexican pharmacies. My experience is that the prices in Mexico were roughly 50-60% of the prices in Texas or California. I know of many who drive into Mexico to purchase the long-term pharmaceuticals to save the money.

If a pharmaceutical company was confident that a drug would be approved by the FDA, why would they introduce it into a low-margin market? Why not wait six months to a year and keep the large margins??

<<<Over a year ago he had
ZONA selling their drug in Mexico. :-) ROFL!>>>

On July 19, 1997, Post # 467, I alluded to the fact that
Zonagen had completed all trials in Mexico six months prior.
I further said that I expected sales in Mexico to begin late
that Fall. To me, that meant prior to mid-December.

As it turned out,(of course not known at that time), the FDA
requested additional information regarding domestic trials of
Vasomax AND the company, as announced, was involved in discussions
with several potential pharmaceutical partners regarding a marketing
alliance. This put everything on HOLD pending the outcome of these
discussions.

Was that a lie I posted? I said I "EXPECTED" sales in Mexico by
late that Fall. Nowhere, in any of my posts, did I ever say "Zona
is selling their drug in Mexico."

We all have a way with words but why not, if we're going to quote
someone's post, at least make it an accurate quote.

If anyone here believes that post was a lie, let me know and I will
apologize accordingly.

Claud
