This question is due to my lack of knowledge of the total IIA story. However, my techie friends are all moving to the WAVE (cable internet access) due to the faster response. If your internet is coming through the cable, do you really need an ICM? Since AT&T acquired TCI for it's cable (and local telephone opportunities) does it not raise the question that IIA's product may be similar to Iomega's ZIP drives?
I think IIA is a great story, but I don't buy companies at 20X forecasted next year operating earnings based on one or two products. Anyone familiar with Michael Porter's strategy knows that to survive you have to either have a defendable niche or be a low cost producer.
I did own IIA (bought it two years ago and sold it for a nice profit).
Based on some rudimentary data, I can see the company generating 20 cents of operating profit possibly next year (thus my 20X multiple assumption). However, Hi-Tech companies can get destroyed through one bad quarter or by not meeting some analyst's incredibly hi growth assumptions. I would definitely check the short positions (especially if Yorkton, Gordon or Canaccord is selling). IMHO
