I completely agree on the fundamentals! the only place where the "Gorilla" winner takes all approach is meaningful is with enabler technologies that are set across a broad range of industries. Enterprise application companies that tightly match the business process are inherently not going to dominate entire industries because the software drives competitive differentiation in business execution. Short term however, I was speaking about the perception in the institutional investment community. joe portfolio manager has 150 to 300 names in a portfolio and has only a limited time to devote to small segments like cis, it's very easy to boil decisions down to a winner takes all approach to stock selection. I haven't heard anything conclusive on the quarter, but this stock acts awful on high volume. Anyone with any sense on the quarter out there?
