InSook, Copper? I hadn't heard that before. I've seen so many people get shellacked betting on copper someone ought to outlaw it! -vbg-

InSook, I don't know how much he lost in his copper investment, but it was my understanding that the forward sale was in a trust that he had set up. He was heavily margined in the trust; otherwise he would have had to continue selling in the open market with the stock in the high teens/low 20's(remember when it hit $16? b/c of him, of course). A/W, the bank basically agreed to lend him enough money to cover his margin, at a premium to the market b/c its sale was in the future.
