It looks like a pretty narrow decision revolving around a single question -- is the OTC BB an "efficient market"? Apparently not, so if you want to sue IAS, you have to sue them as an individual instead of letting the court system take care of your rights, as part of a class. No big deal -- it will probably be better for the plaintiffs that way. All they have to show is that they were individually harmed, instead of trying to prove the more difficult case that a large group of people (the class) were harmed.

The only money I lost on IAS was on the 1 share I bought as a joke at $10 per share after the crash, so I won't be part of this. However, given the harm that Neldon Johnson and company did to a lot of little investors, I'm really disappointed that the U.S. Attorney in Salt Lake City hasn't pursued criminal fraud charges against those involved in the scam, but so far, that hasn't happened.
