YORE, the prescription no. according to the Dow Jones article:

Pfizer says the number is small considering the 2.5 million prescriptions written for the pill.

On WLA's P/E, if WLA is estimated to earn $1.40 in 1998 and $1.82 in 1999, then its P/E is lower than PFE's. However, if PFE meets the whisper no. as mentioned in your post, I'm sure the estimated earnings for 1999 would be revised. Much of the bullishness on WLA is based on Lipitor sales, which should benefit PFE as well. If I have the money, I'll buy a basket of other pharmaceutical co. stocks besides PFE (WLA, MRK, MTC).

Kaiser policy violates state law requiring HMOs to
include treatment for medical necessities in covered benefits, the Times said.
News of the investigation comes on the heels of a federal government order requiring states to pay for Viagra prescriptions under Medicaid programs.
